I walked passed this Merc the other night, looking like a very sad thing now.

I walk past it often. Probably a bit too far gone to restore.

The wheels and roof seem oddly clean for a car that's been stood and has primary colonisers on the paint work.

I'm also pleasantly surprised there appears to have been no casual vandalism or nickage.

Has this featured? It's in Crowthorne in Berkshire.

At the front of the house on quite a busy road.

That's a VERY sad sight. Given it's on its original dealer no' plates I doubt that's moved for decades! frown

Feel free to email me the location as I might try and rescue it.

Can't remember if this has been posted before but this Jag has been parked in the same spot for quite a while:

And next door there is a potentially interesting Mercedes on the drive:

Oh my word! I've gone through 40+ pages of this thread and my heart hurts now frown. Very interesting pictures, very sad to see some really great classics neglected like this.

Yep, I posted that one a year or so back...I knocked on the door to ask if it was for sale/rescue and was told it is not and is awaiting attention.

Did it ever get the attention it deserves or is it still there?

Bonkers. I know it's the runt of the E36 litter (cab) but it's a shame to have been left to die.

Are they no good? I don't know what the E-Numbers all mean.
