This guy has always had penchant for B3 VW Passats! He had a couple of rare GT models in estate and saloon for a while? But they are gone now. He also has loads of motorbikes too!!!!!

This 300ZX was sat in this position for quite a few years but only very recently it seems to have moved and now an S type Jag is lying in its place. The 300ZX was a UK car too.

Not sure if this has been posted before? Apologies if so. I used to commute into Edinburgh quite regularly and would pass this red (now almost pink) E36 on the west side of the city, I think it was a 320i SE, which has been parked up for well over 10 years. I remember I checked the MOT history on it, and it was generally pretty good with the mileage being quite low as well.

If you get chance, Graham Fellows is great live. Great anecdotes and you get John Shuttleworth and Jilted John.

Three Alfa's on the drive, no idea what model is under the car but an exposed wheel looked like a Alfa rim? The later car was also not being used?

Alfa 'shoot-brakes' are cool things, with the moss growing on it - it has been parked up a while? Not much rust thou...

The red car looks like a 156ti (if the wheels are the clue). If so, I think that's quite a rare model. Worth saving I think.

This one has cropped up in Alfa circles. Ayrshire somewhere I gather. I would like that 156SW. My 156 was one of my favourite - if most flawed - cars I ever had

Same: I bought a 1.6 TS Veloce Sportwagon in a hurry, because my MG BGT was causing problems ahead of a long Christmas trek about 15 years ago. Black with red Momo leather and the big alloys, it was a thing of beauty beneath years of dirt and neglect. After literally hours of graft to clean it, I had a fantastic 6 months of ownership punctuated only by the eventual need to replace the radiator (ironically, the thing that failed on my MG).

I loved that thing.

Me too, red Momo lick, in a 1.8 TS in Silver following trouble with a Trans Am radiator ...

I had a 2.0 TS from new. Kept it for seven years, occasionally the fuse for the rear screen blew - so I kept a couple of spares in the car. Outside of that no bills other than routine maintenance. Bought it UK spec in The Netherlands, when that was a thing to do, serviced in a local Italian specialist

Same here, bought a 1.6 Veloce an 9 months old from a main dealer. Before they handed it over they had to change various rear suspension arms.... at just over 20k miles.
In the following 3 years the dealer nearly had the car more than me! 2 cam belts failed, camshaft variator went, MAF sensor went, had a caliper seize, the fuse box cover used to fall off etc, etc.

I loved that car, it really drove well, but in the end I was just glad to get rid of it. I part exed it for a Skoda Octavier estate and the Skoda dealer had to phone 7 garages before he could get anyone to take it, then it languished on their forecourt for 18months and ended up quite a bit cheaper than what I traded it in for.

My Dad had a 156 as a company car and as an 18 year old I thought it was the bees knees, especially as I was insured on it. It used to lose power randomly and subsequently the ABS and PS didn't work. Happened to me approaching a roundabout which was interesting as a new driver.

Funny enough I've never desired to own an Alfa myself, and my Dad's not owned one since.

Good looking ste.

We had a 156SW. 2.4JTD.

Lovely looking car in black, with a great sounding 5 pot diesel unit. However, it needed new suspension bits every year.

It wasn't the sharpest handling thing either and very wallowy. Nice cruising down through the French autoroutes though.

I sold it to my neighbour (second hand dealer) and he has sold it four times over and it keeps popping back. Still looks lovely, despite being 20 years old now.
