Apparently its a ProStreet 420G has big-block Chevy V8 with a pair of rather large turbos.

I’ve seen it (and heard it laugh) at a show. Quite spectacular!

Is that the same one that used to be grey? It’s a beast!

Edit: I think that’s another one.

If I’m correct that’s the one I’ve seen at The Hare meet, it is quite something to behold when it takes off!

This story from Cornwall popped up earlier and it features the Morris Minor from near Lands End. https://www.cornwalllive.com/news/cornwall-news/ga...

It always seemed a staple part of scrap yards in the 70's to have an old car either on the roof of the building or rusting away on top of a container.

I wonder if there were ever any real rarities used this way before their value skyrocketed?

Popped into a coal and feed merchant in Tiverton Devon today. What should I see minding it's own business at the far end of the yard....

Beyond help A30 I think.

Seems appropriate as the A30 does pass throught Devon, although the A35 does too I think!

But that does look beyond salvation sadly.

The Mk10 looks a better bet to be a project, but it would be a huge undertaking.

That is a sad sight, and definitely deserves saving!
Agreed. A man of your calibre can surely make that happen!? Drop the body over the noisy bits of an X308 XJR!
biglaugh I've wanted to put a V12 in one for quite a while! Depends if the owner would sell it though, of course.
If you’ve got to do it, you’ve got to do it properly laugh

Haha no, for me it would be a big V12. That does look awesome though!

Has that been there all that time? It looks like it is in the way of the pallets behind it that don't look that old.

That's a good point. In the yard, yes I expect it has. But it must roll back and forward to facilitate pallet loading and unloading.
