Love the Alfa...and the Gordon Keeble behind!

Looks like a good turn out.

Lovely car and great plate. I remember sitting in one at a motor show and thinking what an amazing driving position it had.

I've now completed the suspension refurb/upgrade on my Skyline - Ohlins DFV coilovers, every ball joint replaced with new OEM and every bush replaced with either Nismo or SuperPro.

Capri passed its MOT today with no advisories.

Another year on the road - happy days!

Just had a Continental fitted - looks like it could’ve been fitted at production…

That's the one! DAB, BT, USB? Is it any good?
Not yet had chance to put it through its paces but was recommended to me by the indy Porsche dudes I use - apparently these are a favourite with those with transaxles for both looks and ability
Bit of an update for those that are interested. The Continental set up seems to work OK, but I get the feeling that looks were top of the criteria as its not as good as the Alpine I had in the 928. I found the Alpine to be quite intuitive to use, whereas the Continental has a tidier look with fewer buttons, but doesn't seem as clear, if that makes sense.

Main problem, for me, is that the USB is not iPhone compatible so there's no charging and its always a connection via Bluetooth for calls and audio. BT is never quite as good as a wired connection, and not being able to charge the phone on the go is a pain. Also, the screen on the radio doesn't link to whatever's being played on the phone. Only found this out after I tried several cables to understand why it wouldn't connect, and then looked in the instruction book (I'll hand in my card on the way out...) to find this info buried in the text.

On top of that, I'm not convinced the sound quality is much better either.

So, looks great, performs OK, not cheap, others are probably better value for money. Lets call it German biggrin

Also, apologies to readers of this particular page - there are lots of pictures of some very lovely cars, and I've gone and put a photo of a gearstick in the way...

I always loved these when I was a kid.

We always wanted our dad to get one for his next company car, when we didn’t realise he never had that choice.

Mine is back after a complete service, new fluids and general good looking at and ready for the summer season.

A new regulator was fitted as part of the service and it now starts and runs better than I can ever recall.

I have owned it 11 years and am toying with the idea of changing it, but it will be hard to see it go.

I was spamming the wrong threads with pics as I got my two out of storage this morning. Glad to find this thread! Nothing too exotic, I'm afraid, but they make me smile.

I also own this, but at just 16 years old, not sure it's a classic yet...

Beautiful!

Would love a R33 but have missed the boat now.

Its interesting that particular cars of a given model just look so so right. That Merc is a timeless good-looker: colour/stance/in-top-down-mode/condition

That looks like a lot of fun. Nice one.
