Not really an estate, more the ultimate expression of Giotto Bizzarrini's interpretation of the aerodynamic theories of Professor Wunibald Kamm . . . . . and of Enzo Ferraris sometimes unequalled ability to cut off his nose to spite his face!![](http://cache.jalopnik.com/assets/resources/2007/10/breadvan2.jpg)
Sadly no pics, but many (MANY!!!!) years ago I owned what the BMC cognesenti at the time were adamant had never been made - a 1967 Riley Kestrel 1300 (ADO16 model) Countryman. Full Riley trim, Riley front, correct (& one piece) badging, similar styling to the Austin Countryman but more rake to the rear end & one off side windows.
No idea where it is now (if it even still exists), but I seem to recall selling to a somewhat eccentric guy in the South West who had double figure ADO16's. (Deluded masochist possibly
)
Anyway......ramble over!
As an aside, a good friend had an early 80's (V plate IIRC) 5 series BMW estate in the very early 90's, it was a bit roughly built TBH but looked the part if you squinted in the dusk![wink](/inc/images/wink.gif)
AndrewWG, how are you?? Call down - some VERY interesting stuff in at the moment!
Cheers all, Al.
