This scarce 24 Valve GSI Carlton needs saving pronto. it's a desirable Manual as well. I had 2 of these a 12 Valve manual and then a 24 Valve auto, great cars.
This one would make a great Lotus Carlton replica.
Personally I'd prefer that to be kept relatively original (saved though, of course) rather than made into something it's not. This one would make a great Lotus Carlton replica.
I wonder of the many wrecks posted her, if any of them suddenly disappeared, wether any proof of ownership exists. I know of people who lost their original old log book, and never had any paperwork relating to ownership. If the reg no and chassis number doesn't register on the DVLA website, then possesion is all I guess.

looks like it https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/Strood,+Roches...Slightly off topic, but also located in Strood is this Soviet era 'Black widow' submarine... It has been sitting in the River Medway for years.
Not sure what the story is with it but it has been there for as long as I can remember. Quite an eerie sight when you consider what it was originally built for.
