The convertible 355 was taking two uncool parking spaces so I opted for this instead:....
What an idiot the 355 driver must be!

I mean, how can you park a 355 in a uncool parking space - let alone two!

A 355 should always be parked in the cool parking spaces!

Are you sure it wasn't a replica? Now they should most definitely be parked in the uncool parking spaces.

(Unless of course there's a "Pretending to be something I'm not!" parking space available!)

Went to North Weald drag day today but because I was expecting rain I just wandered around with my phone and looked at all of the nice bits of metal rather than running myself.

Typical of most old classics.

And.....I guess they made too many of them so price is always a result of supply and demand.
I think 2)Thirst and 3)Rust are the only two points of those given that can be applied as typical of most (all) old cars called classics

of course also agree that on all of them the price is down to supply and demand
They're not actually that big by todays standards and the cost or repair is no greater than that of many others I can think of.

God awful fuel consumption makes using it often a major problem

The suspension can be an issue but touch wood I've never had a problem and I've owned a few.

I think they look great now against modern stuff but the smell of old leather and damp carpet can get right into your cloths and you spend the rest of your day smelling like an incontinent geriatric.
It is nearly 17ft in length - so i assume you mean width - which is just under 6ft
Shadows have actually had higher prices than Spirits. In a minority here as i have always preferred the really undervalued Spirits

Some highlights from the Bolnhurst Show yesterday. Another very interesting and varied display of cars, tractors and classic commercials smile -

Would be happy to post some snaps of the tractors and the commercial motors too if anyone is interested? smile

Funny, I thought I was the only person who liked the Silver Spirit. Nice to know I'm not.

Big soft spot for GT V8s and that one looks superb! Very lovely indeed.

Currently in the US of A.
Plenty of nice old muscle cars out in the sun, but I saw something rather different today.
A Nash Metropolitan being used as a daily driver!
Never seen one on the road before!
