Is that a Saab 96 on the forecourt near the pavement? Wide grill so post 1965
It is, though not sure what it's doing there as it's on the forecourt of a BMC/BL dealership.
The Wolesely 18/85 kerbside dates it to 1967 or later, I think? And the hair cut.

MK 1 Escort van in the background makes it April 68 at the earliest.

Not sure if that applied to the Isle of Man though I somehow doubt we were ahead of the UK!

Would it be sad if I remember that "parts department" Minivan running about.

It looks like an XJ6 in the showroom, so late '68; however, definition is not good but it looks like it might have the vertical grille slats and, if so, that would make it late '69 for a Sovereign or possibly even, if an XJ12, '72??

Thirsk market place in North Yorkshire in the seventies, including a racy Mini Clubman, an Audi 80 (?) Estate and a Citroen Dyane

The Clubbie could be a genuine 1275GT, looks like it's wearing 5''x10'' Mambas or Revolutions too wink

I did wonder. Looks to have the 1275GT side stripe. I’ve always liked Revos and Mambas with polished rims smile

What is it parked in front of the dark colour Capri (nose to nose)?
And is the car to its left a Simca 1500 estate?

I think it's a Minor with a Simca 1100 van next to it.

I think it can only be a Morris Oxford.

I've never seen an estate version of that era Audi 100 and I can't even find a picture of one!

It's a rare F103 Audi 80 Variant 2 door - it started life as a DKW and when VW bought NSU/DKW/Auto Union, they inherited the car and revived the Audi name for it
