Well done to owner for driving it [even though he was an effin' mobile chicane] Maybe 'e' types are now speed limited to 30mphfrown [unless they're on a trailer that is - being trailered to a show] smile
Despite an awesome day for Driving any car, the 'e' type was the only interesting machine I saw in 160 miles of great driving 'B' roads today, my mates 66' cobra exceptedsmile
Later on I spotted the E type again parked in EV carpark, never realised how ugly the 2+2 coupe e type looks. from rear3/4 view, Why would anyone pay silly money for an ugly rear end like that.

Undoubtably some e type lovers are gonna explain/justify to us all why it looks so awful, IMO the drop top 'e' type doesn't have this problem.
Terrible color too - oh well i guess this must have been a real cheapo e type - old 4.2 litre, 2+2 in a crap color - yours for £??? [far too much IMO]
Compare that price to a droptop in Primrose yellow for examplethumbup

This brought a smile to my face yesterday afternoon. I’ve seen this car pottering about my local town for a while now:

There used to be more HCs in the family, but the coupe was sold and I haven't seen the gold saloon move for a while now.

More to the point, there's room for me in one. The coupe and the drop top are not designed for individuals of my height or avoirdupoissmile!

You forgot to mention the ridiculous pram-wheel offset fail wink

I have to agree with it all... I've always thought anything other than an early droptop or a lowdrag E-Type is one of the most overrated looking cars ever. "It's beautiful because we tell you so" seems to be the usual justification.

OMG, that windscreen-roof line eek sooooooooo awkward. That side photo just looks like someone parked an old boat behind an E-Type roadster

IMO, the 2+2 is one of those cars that looks better in the metal than it does in photos.

I'm pretty sure one of these would be an interesting project. Just been out for a stroll on the first day of my holiday and have seen three already lying abandoned in the corners of gardens. Zastava 750 .

Was there a green one near it? Around tea-time I saw a green one, and one the same colour as this, near Nantwich. The one the same colour could easily have been blue all over, though, I only caught a glimpse.

No, that was the only one at Sleap. We left at around lunchtime after having a late breakfast and didn't see another. Perhaps he met up with his mate afterwards?

1965 Ferrari 500 Super Fast at our local classic car show. One of 8 RHD from a total run of 36 cars. Must be getting on for 2.5/3 million quid's worth.
