Why don't you erect a big storage barn in front of your house, for storage of your vehicles? At least to keep the rain off.

I am moving out of the house soon, and anyway planning might be a problem. The collection is being downsized to two cars and one bike.

Surely you could be persuaded by a fixed roof TR8? If it helps, it could be a shed-converted death trap with standard weakling brakes and original bouncy suspension....nerd

That's a real "cor! what'll she do, mister?" type of car.

Sadly, its a Canley built version and not the original, pure Speke built version. If the front badge says "TR7" then you're onto a winner. A larurel wreath or, God forbid enamel badge means a latter car with all the build quality of an A8 S class luxubarge

Not sure that was called-for, was it? The car looked an honest old thing to me and BV, despite occasional moodiness and (welcome) sharpness with idiots, seems an all-round decent bloke.
