Yes that demonstrates it pretty perfectly to be honest, although it does remind me of idle wonderings of a shooting brake SLC.

Also, I'd love a restomod/hot rod R129 too.
The SL Universal

and the SLC-based Crayford Condor before crash

and after

Ha, amazing! Thanks for these, I never knew they existed! The first looks like it has the back end from a 2002 Touring. I'll admit my wonderings were hoping for a more elegant execution with more glass to be honest.

Crayford apparently paid Triplex ten grand for three sets of glass, maybe hoping to build more than one car. But they only sold one, at 32k (in 1980!).

The story of the Condor is about halfway down this page https://www.crayfordconvertibleclub.com/conversion...

I believe it is now in Australia.

The SL one did use BMW panels, if my rudimentary German serves me correctly.

But, never mind that - I just found a photo of a Crayford 6.3 litre estate, in RHD! Who bought one of these in the UK in the 1970s? It must have cost the world. Wonder where it is now.

Thanks for the link, always interesting to know more. I hope that Crayford estate still exists somewhere, I'd imagine it could be worth a lot of money now to the right person.

Missing my Lancia Fulvia Sport by Zagato. I got it just as lockdown started and as a vulnerable person had to put it away.
Really was great fun to drive the few times took it out, once I got use to the dogleg first gear. Cannot wait to get out of London for a long country drive.

Many thanks. I first saw one pull in to my school when I was 11 and knew I had to get one. It was so different from anything I’d seen before.

I’ve see this and it is one of the reasons I decided to get mine and he has done an update below.
He has the 1600 mine just a 1300 but loves to be revved. I have faster cars but this is my favourite.

Thats a cool classic pair, a very unusual yet period appropriate colour on the SL. Not seen one that shade before.

Love the orange on the SL. Does that house not have a bathroom?

My old 1983 Tasmin 2.8i.
I used to commute to Switzerland in her back in 1999/2000.

Yes, 780 miles. Used to go home for a long weekend every 3rd week.
Used to do similar in a Chimaera and a Tuscan to Germany. smile

The rear lights were a mod someone had done before I bought it.

With the nice weather forecast this week, I pulled the Stag out of the garage at the weekend.

Ooh, that's lovely. Love a Lancia. I'm currently looking for a Flavia Coupe myself.
