How could a company that made something as beautiful as a Marcos 3000 then make something so pig-ugly as the Mini Marcos?

It's a Marcos 'Fastback', built in very small numbers with most being bought new by club racers. Lots of outright and class wins to their credit apparently.

An acquired taste as the saying goes but I like the interior, the dash and centre console has a definite touch of 'Ed Straker' about it...

And.......

7) A lot less people
8)A lot less 'street furniture' clutter
London was shrinking at the time with a lot less people living in the centre of town due to the arrival of the suburbs and stuff. Numbers have increased since.

Not going by the 3rd pic which is taken at 90 degree to the 2nd and from further to the photographer's left, and you can thus see the rear of it.

Been looking at those train images. American trains arent beautiful they have a certain functionality. Anyway, these two images are interesting

(Cant seem the images, but here are the links...)

The americans had a version of a Mk1 fiesta???

A run down area of america in the mid 80s. Yet in the same frame a yank car with the TV boomerang aerial, and a new looking 911 carrera 3.2.

Something's going down, man....

The yank version of the Fiesta was the source of the XR2's round headlights.
