I don't think it is a Twink.

Could be an early 1300GT?
Good call, you could well be right smile

Twink was my first thought but cant quite put my finger on why, maybe just the way its sitting at the back and the wheels look a bit wider than standard..
I don't think there's enough neg camber on the front for it to be a Twink, and the front arches don't look to be flared enough.....plus the front wing mounted mirror is a very un-TC like item, which is why I'm more inclined to go for a 1300GT.

It's been pointed out to me elsewhere that what I thought was an Espada in the Ledbury Mews pic is a De Tomaso Mangusta… wink
Indeed it is, even rarer and cooler smile

A quickie before I toddle off to work... Walmer Road, W11, in 1971...

Complete with a grubby looking 63-64 Thunderbird smile
I saw a turquoise blue T'bird of that vintage on the M6 around Christmas time, it looked huge!

Railway Mews, West London, 1970...

The file name for this DB6 Volante at the Earls Court Motor Show says it's from 1966 but I think it might be '67 or 'even '68, even so it's an early appearance for the flash new reverse engraved / reflective silver on black perspex number plates...

Two from Radley Mews in 1976...

Is that the same white Viva estate in both those pics?

I thought that, maybe it was double parked, and the photographer took shots from both sides of the road

the same old subject again, that F plate Vauxhall looks absolutely shagged in 1971

Can I ask where that pic comes from? I'm a bit of a nerd regarding the Probes and have not seen it anywhere before.

Maybe the Viva is the photographer's car and he stopped to take a picture of the Citroen? Seems incredible but it's roughly in the centre of both pictures and it's difficult to tell what else the intended subject could be.

Nice pictures as always P5b..

Reckon that white Escort in one of the Kensal Rise pictures could be a twincam?
Wheels too skinny. It's not a GT (no stainless trim around the rear panel or the side windows), just a boggo Ermine white 1100/100 Deluxe.

That's what I thought when I posted them wink

Uxbridge, 27th April 1970 - Tony Curtis arrives at Magistrates Court in a chauffeur driven Bentley S2 Continental with James Young Coachwork, charged with possession of cannabis which he had on him when he flew into Heathrow Airport that February to start work on 'The Persuaders', the poor love was charged a whopping £50 for his troubles...

According to the Bank Of England inflation calculator that would now be the equivalent of £779.

I am pretty sure this is from the 1966 Earls Court Show (where the DB6 Volante was launched after the short 'short-chassis' run to use up the remaining DB5 chassis). Easily mistaken for a Rolls-Royce what with a flying lady dancing around on the bonnet with her high heels.

Thanks - I wonder if she was a delete option for shorter drivers who could only just see over the steering wheel... hehe

Bit of a wolf in sheep's clothing this - a 1965 Mk1 Mini 'Woodie' in Fiesta Yellow with a 1071 Cooper S engine, badged as an 'Austin Mini S', the photo dates from 1968...
