Shadow 2100kg, trailer 700kg+,with a RAV4 all the way to Spain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think he is a very lucky man that he has not killed someone.

Surely VOSA would have got him at the ferry port.
I doubt VOSA would be at the port or be bothered if they were not at the scene, the police are quite capable of prosecuting for insecure load, over loading and possibly driving without due care or similar. It also looked like the trailer was something like a cut down caravan, certainly didn't look like a proper car car trailer capable of carrying over two tons.

Can only be thankful that the accident involved only himself, and didn't occur on a busy autoroute as he was heading down to Spain.

As well as the weight, nice high centre of gravity on that trailer...

As others have said, he'd have been better towing the Toyota with the Rolls.

Sadly the car ended up a shadow of its former self.
It all happened on the Spur of the moment.

The Rav4 is a fine towing vehicle and what with 4 wheel drive should be more than capable of towing anything

( anything small!)

He should be in ecstasy that he survived that! Hope he'll use a better Crewe next time.
