Spot the none Frenchie’s in this Parisian street image from 1967.

4 definite, not sure of the 2 tone red and white car ahead of the fiat 500.

It's a Simca Vedette.

Ah, that's my old friend Dick Ellingham - he owned and raced that G4 NAP4F for many, many years. Here's a pic of him (on the left) at the end of a Ginetta Club meeting in Berkshire in the early 80s when he also had this road going G4 Series IV.
Earlier that day that pub was overflowing with Ginettas.

Shame about P5Bnij

I remember a set of those alloys on a shelf on the local car parts shop in the 80's, Dolomite fit, were there gathering dust for years.

I must go back there, my £6.25 battery charger from 1988 has failed.

For a start - I see a Honda S800 and an Aubergine Cortina MKII

Stop Press - There's a Triumph 1300 FWD too!

There's another Cortina in front of the other. Beetle to the far left and two others in the centre. Fiat 600 behind the aubergine cortina. A Taunus estate and a big yank, maybe Plymouth Valiant on the right toward the back.

Since posting, I've upped the count to nine, blue Tina possibly a 1600E.

Are we saying that the car in front of 'my' Cortina and behind the Renault 4 is another Cortina. Aftermarket spots? Silver Fox or maybe even Blue Mink. (Must be brand new then or the primer would be showing through!)

I wonder which pub that is, thought I knew most of them in Berkshire! beer
It's in Hampshire on the B3349. I used to drive past it regularly.
Ah, what's a few miles between counties and friends, especially at speed! I stand corrected on the pub being in Hampshire.
The Ginetta Owners' Club AGM's in those days used to be a bit further back up the road (A33) from the New Inn - held in Swallowfield... in Berkshire.

Here's a little evidence of Ginettas heading south to Heckfield for the pub meet, included all sorts, inc full blown race cars (G15 in the middle of the 3 on the verge - who couldn't get into pub car park as it was full).

Dunno about the non-Frenchies, all I can see (hear!) is loads of car horns! hehe

Ah ha... The New Inn at Heckfield, I know it well, I've had Sunday dinner there. Actually prefer the Leathern Bottle just along the road but it was okay... beer
How's that for a similar pub name coincidence (albeit spelt different).
We used to regularly congregate (again in the 80s) at another (Ye Olde) 'Leathern Bottel' in Lewknor in Oxfordshire.

The rather ungainly looking car above is a G11 convertible - didn't work imo.

Another coincidence. I landed my glider in the field behind that pub! In the days before mobile phones, so having made the glider stable (turned it sideways to the wind and put the parachute on the wing tip). I walked to the pub and asked to borrow their phone. Rang my mate at Booker and settled down in the garden with a pint to wait for him with the trailer. smile

Assume that's North Korea? The Volvo's are the '73 facelift but the Merc 190 on the left would indicate the pic was taken a decade later at least. Also, is that a Dacia (Renault 12 based) behind the blue Volvo with the door open?

The image was taken by Gerhard Joren, 1989 in the diplomatic quarter; the Volvo’s were shipped to North Korea in the mid 70’S.

There is no information on the other cars, although the location suggests some may be embassy rides. The left side of the blue Volvo there appears to be a Mercedes 200 or similar.

yes a W201 with poverty spec steel wheels and trims. There's a white Dacia 1310 behind the Volvo, two more in the background, a red one over to the far left and a grey one driving past in the distance on the right. A Mercedes W114/115 is lurking to the right.

I was referring to the left from the point of view of the image, if looking at the image, to the right of the Volvo.

In 1960s’ Shanghai, when bride got married, a Shanghai SH760 sedan wedding car could create great sensation and admiration.
