good picture, at least now you know for sure to change for say better cooling and different brake set up, or best brake fluid etc, which can stand very high heat and braided brake hoses, but then maybe those things you already had and need more track/race brake pads and or in the worse case, bigger brakes, but then you probably also need a bigger capacity brake cilinder or something like that... ooow the joy of doing track days :-)

The Gilbern Chevy GT at Donington last weekend. Another day when things did not go to plan, the Chevy overheated very quickly and after a few laps the brakes locked on. The continued learning curve.

I will get there! The rad is out of the car at the moment, I'm going to cut out a chassis cross brace and reposition it, I will then be able to get a bigger rad made. I'm going to move the fan to the engine side and probably fit a fan shroud. I'm also going to change the water pump for a higher velocity version. The brakes should be a simple fix, we changed the master cylinder between the qual and the race, this generated the same problem, I think the connecting rod from the pedal is at the wrong angle causing the piston to seize.Saw the car and had a chat with you on Sunday

Lovely. I had a 2002 when I lived in Germany ca. 1992. I loved it. Proper grandad spec. I sold it for DM 3000, so £1000.
I do love a later 2002.In the 80’s, I had an uncle who lived in Istanbul that owned one fitted with a 3500 Alpina engine. My teenage self was captivated by the sound it made.im sorry to say, I didn’t own a camera back then.
Mid 90’s I was invited to a party at a small holding in the middle of Kent and the owners daughter showed me a barn with about six of them in various states of restoration, including a Ti.

Looks great Mr bd! I do yern for an older Porsche.
Quick hoon around the Cotswolds on Monday and managed a few good shots. The car performs very well for its age, but it needs being tinkered with. Steady the body roll, firm it up a bit etc.
Back in those long gone days dominated by BL , Ford and Vauxhall when a BMW was a comparatively rare sight .
