Ford Granada 2.8 Ghia
Discussion
Have lusted after one of these since I was a kid and dad brought the brochures home. Sadly cos we were so brassic that was as close as I got.
Fast forward 40 years and I pursue one into a McDonald's and scare the owner accousting him to see his wheels.
Turns out car only has 19k on the clock. Full cloth velour trim. Rear seats never used.
I can die a happy man now.

Did you buy it?
My dad had a crystal green Granada 2.8 Ghia with brown velour - one of the first of the facelifted cars, so it would have been an 81X. It was a lovely car -very comfortable and well made. I have fond memories of it. It was actually a better car than the BMW E28 he replace it with, though the BMW was a lot faster.

Great find OP - hope you did buy it!
But keep it very secured if you can - banger racers love these!
I had an early MKII 2.8 Ghia back in 1981 (T-Reg 1978) in Silver with black trim. Great car!
Mate of a mate had an older brother with a metallic blue V-reg and his dad had an S-reg in Oyster Gold - 3 x Ghias looked great parked in a line! (Wish I had a photo)!

I had a crystal green Granada 2.8 Ghia at Uni that I bought for 150 quid. On an A plate so one of the last. IIRC I gave it to my sister's boyfriend on a visit back home because I couldn't afford the petrol to drive it back. That and it had some hedge on it from a wet field drift sessionI didn't buy it - absolutely nowhere to store anything where I now live. Bloke was going to sell it to another guy but pulled out of it when it transpired buyer was going to turn it into a track car!!!
As for value, I did wonder what it was worth. It was in the blue they did so very desirable.
Lovely car. It's making me smile now.

Estates were loads of fun on wet roundabouts!
I can vouch for that. In my younger days I drove my fathers 2.8 Ghia X-pack estate a fair bit. I can still recall 2 massive tank slappers, one in the wet and one on ice. My over correction ensured that the fish tailing went on & on & on. Still makes me go cold 30 years on...Lovely cars. Back in the early 80s I worked for a company based in Perth (Scotland, not Australia) and if a meeting there overran one of the chauffeurs would drive us peasants back to Edinburgh to catch a train. In a 2.8 Ghia Estate.
95mph down the M90 was fairly fast then, and we felt like captains of industry for half an hour!

George Cowley: By the way, did you two pick up my desk?
Bodie: Ah, well, yes sir, we did.
Doyle: And we didn't.
George Cowley: You did and you didn't?
Doyle: Yeah...
Bodie: Yeah, well, we did the first time...
Doyle: But not the, uh, second time...
I know Cowley had a couple of Granadas but the desk incident was a Cortina.Bodie: Ah, well, yes sir, we did.
