COOL CLASSIC CAR SPOTTERS POST!!!
Discussion
Reading the Supercar spotters post has inspired me to start a classic car spotters post, as i see quite a few really nice classic cars that wouldnt qualify in any way to go on the supercars list. And we're now getting into some very nice weather, and seeing many about.
Ill start with what i saw yesterday:
Austin Healey 3000
1930's Alfa Romeo
Alfa Romeo Duetto
Rover P5B Coupe
Aston Martin Vantage (origional)
Ferrari 328 GTS
A war-era Bentley I think (not too good with really old cars)
Any one else willing to share??

Saw a Bright Orange LAmborghini Urraco on the way home from school today, very nice. Went to a classic car show (local thing in a field) on sunday and it was wonderful , full of brilliant cars most notably an ex-works fully restored triumph tr4 decked out in all the rally stuff. Wonderful!!

saw a couple of very nice classics out today,
an interesting looking almost raspberry colour Triumph TR6 near the Merc dealer in Bedford, an original MGB roadster in MK and perhaps the best, certainly the most coolest classic i saw today, a deep blue Ferrari Daytona approaching Bicester earlier this evening!
I think ive seen that Daytona in Aylesbury before, last time i saw it was a couple of weeks ago though. an interesting looking almost raspberry colour Triumph TR6 near the Merc dealer in Bedford, an original MGB roadster in MK and perhaps the best, certainly the most coolest classic i saw today, a deep blue Ferrari Daytona approaching Bicester earlier this evening!

It confused me tooBeen down in St. Mawes in cornwall for the week, seen a few interesting classics.
5 MGB's (3 GT's and 2 Roadsters)
A Cobra ?replica?
3 different Morgans, all of the 4 cylinder variety.
an Alvis saloon of some description
a white Morris Minor Traveller
A funky but rotten MIni 850.
A Rover P5B
A very clean MG Midget
A Rolls Royce Silver Ghost
A '71 Porsche 911 (my favorite spot)
A green Aston Martin DB6
A nice old XJS V12.
And not a classic but a loverly Aston V8 Vantage Roadster. Oh the noise!!

A lovely Series 2 E-type Roadster in red, a (freshly restored by the looks of it) primrose yellow MGB Roadster, a red Stag, an 80's 911 Convertible, Austin Farina on Roystyles, Morgan, a lovely little Elan Sprint roadster in red and white in Taunton, a TR6, a Triumph Herald and a Capri 'free lita' in gold. And a few others I cannot remember off the top of my head.
Some sort of classic rally going on in the country lanes around my area today, as driving through them for noly about 2 miles, i saw, among others,:
Aston Martin DB5 in race spec.
2 race spec origional AC Cobra's
A Humber Snipe
A 1924 Bentley 3.0 litre
Mercedes 190SL
Mercedes Pagoda
1966 Corvette Stingray convertible.
2 MGA's
A Porsche 356 Speedster.
An Austin Healey 3000
A Jaguar E-Type series 1 coupe.
They were all in beautiful condition, and the Aston DB5 was a proper racer, it was light blue and gorgeous!! It made my day seeing that lot. And hearing the Vette
ETA: Also drove past teh most tragic front garden I know of. In a small detached house in the country side, there is a man that has on his front lawn, languishing under his trees and left to rot,:
An oringional Torpedo style Tatra
A Works Sunbeam Tiger
A Sunbeam Alpine
An MGA
And a Rover P5B
An old caravan
It breaks my heart to drive past it.
