You get to "black up" too, which is generally considered to be a bit bad taste.

For bonus points, take a ballot box, some voting slips with the X already printed next to "Mugabe", and some purple ink.

gary glitter is a good one. you can get the suit/wig/platforms from pretty much any fancy dress shop. then go down the market and buy some kid's toy handcuffs and a cheap lifesize doll. handcuff said dolly to yourself. jobs a good un.

i have pics of myself in the exact same get-up but i would need a good dig around to find them. only had one complaint all night and that was from some old dear in the pub. considering we went all round the city centre, not bad going, most people saw the joke and this was only a week or so after he was in the papers after his last paedo encounter in vietnam.

ps - on second thoughts, i remember takign a good tumble across the dancefloor in the platforms, twisting me ankle, and having to stay at my mates house for 2 days as i couldn;t walk or drive!

Last fancy dress party I got invited to I quite fancied dressing as a plantation owner/great white hunter type and getting my flatmate to 'black up' and come as my servant (knew there was lots of lentilist types going and felt antagonistic) but bottled it as I thought it was pushing bad taste too far...then discovered the Glasgow Uni young Tories had gone and done just that for their halloween bash!

They got in trouble with the law and everything so I'm quite glad I didn't now...perhaps you could try this?

Orange overalls = Camp X-Ray inmate?
