Tandoori King Prawns is a bute. Personally I don't feel like I've got my moneys worth unless the curry blows your head off so I normally go for somein a bit hot. A vindy is a good option but I feel you may over do it with that option on the spud front as you'll be mixing yer spud with yer chips.

Oh come on all you Curry snobs, a chip never tastes as good as it does dipped in some curry sauce.

Round here we go for best of both and order [common welsh accent]ahf un ahf[/common welsh accent]

I never ever have 'lamb' because since working in the meat trade know that 9 out of 10 times it's mutton, and the cheapest nastiest mutton you can get.

I know...but it tastes gooooood....same way that lamb stew
never tastes as good with best lamb as opposed to scrag end or
neck...the flavour is in the fat.

*Unfeasibly* hungry now.

Believe me, there's no fat on this mutton.

Usually it was 'casualty' mutton. Killed because it had broken it's leg (removed by meat inspector after slaughter) or next to death anyway - ewe incapable/too old to produce more lambykins.

I don't care. I'm now in a state of hunger that
would have me eating the thing raw, possibly still
bleating, as long as it was smeared in some form
of curry sauce.

One of the worst dishes I have ever tried had a layer of melted cheese on top of the meat/sauce. I can’t remember the name of it, but I can still recollect the queasy feeling I had about hour after eating it.

Very greasy.

Chips, chips in a curry house? It's alright down the chippy, but not in the local Taj Mahal

What's the tikka-style kebab that's served
with a fried egg on top - reshmi or somesuch?

God this is torture.

Sorry, Lazy, the level of irony for such lamentable northern filth to call anyone uncultured is supreme.

I usually go for half chips and half rice - is that OK with the Curry Police?

Curry is always one of mixed Rogan Josh/Madras/Vindaloo

Oh, and I was talking to the nice restaurant owner afterwards, and he didn't see anything wrong with it. His quote was "actually I sometimes have a jalfrezi and chips after we're shut"

So bollox to you "No chip" nay-sayers

Always had my doubts about naming an eatery after a mausoleum - shades of Monty Python.

Do they deliver?

To Bracknell?

At lunchtime?

I am lost for words to describe how monumentally peckish
this talk of curry has got me feeling.

They deliver, dunno how far though.

Its called Taal, in the base of the Frogmore Hotel.

Dunno but the sheesh from the mixed grill dipped in a fried egg puts most breakfast experiences to shame

What are we talking about here? Lamb chop, black pudding, steak, marinated in spices and served with chips and a fried egg?
