Saw them last year at the Forum in Kentish town. Damn fine gig. Absolutely mental during Kill Your Television.

Also saw Carter last year, and have tickets for their gig this year!

Never saw the Wonderstuff.

But Neds yes, a stack of times. And Pop Will Eat Itself.

Aaaah, nostalgia.

Ain't what it used to be.

There was also Kenickie who was front by the lovely Lauren Laverne. There was other girls in the band but the jury are still out on whether they were really binmen in drag.
Not a girl group, the drummer was Lauren's brother. One of the other members of the group wasn't bad looking.

In your car

Lauren Laverne didn't front Kenickie, she shared lead vocals with Marie du Santiago who was the better singer and leads on there biggest singles (e.g. Nightlife)

Whilst we're doing Lauren Laverne, so to speak, I think it's only fair that this one is posted:

Stuffies are still playing occasionally, well worth going to see miles with erica nockalls, saw him play a gig in thirsk last year as a favour to a promoter, still on form and very funny too smile

Grey Cell green was probably my top Ned tune, buy KYT live was always a highlight
