Just got a new SE phone, but as my old phone has died I can't get the old fashioned ring ring ringtone off it. I can't find it anywhere on Google - anybody any ideas where I can get it from (Mp3)?? Bloody hate all those silly tunes it comes pre-loaded with!

Google for CTU24.MP3

Top tone. Raises a smile for those in the know, sounds perfectly normal if you don't, appropriate for a business setting.

Darrent, pm me your email address, I have exactly what you require. I work in TV, I recorded an old style BRITISH GPO phone and have it as an mp3 on my phone smile It goes 'DRING DRING, DRING DRING...'

On its way. I'd host it but for some reason NTL isn't letting me upload to my webspace.

Excellent, my phone doesn't do MP3s - any chance you could drop that midi file somewhere I could pick it up (rather than cost you another mms)?

Couple more for you if you still need them?

The second one is the one I use & quiet loud

Ring One

Ring Two

Biggish files, just trim them down with Nero or something (or use them as they are)

I used to work at a place pre "24" where the phones actually all had that ring on them! I bet all my old colleagues pretend to be jack on a daily basis...

edit: you havent "hosted" it, what you've really done is open a socket to your workstation!

That is what I have a standard on my Samsung-some-thing-or-other from T mobile. I've waited years for a phone with a normal ring on. None of this garbage mickey mouse chav novelty crap for me.
