So, it seems the US finally gave in, but who do theythink they are to say to smaller less economically developed countries 'we aint gonna change until you change'. I have a deep hatred of GWB more than ever. Sadly it seems some idiots still think that global warming isn't real. Some guyso n the BBC site have been arguing with my dad and naother astrophysicist tryign to tell them they know nothing of planterary atmoshperics......

Of course it is.

Except it's Climate change, and has been real for the past 4 billion years.

What's causing the warming on Mars then Mr My Dads an Astrophysicist?
From him: Mars has an atmosphere warmer than a planet of a similar size should, because Mars has an atmosphere of carbon dioxide, which causes the warming.

Global warming may well be real, but man has a very minutely insignificant part of it!
I personally think that our part is a lot bigger than some of us want to realise. It's strange that the planet has suddenly started getting a lot hotter a lot lot faster since we have started using fossil fuels. Some of it may be natural, but I believe it's a cumulative effect.

Eeee, it seems the climate change on mars has caused somehwta of a debate here. I will ask my dad what his view is, when he gets back. My knowledge of astrophysics is crap, it just doesn't interest me that much.
As for climate change being man made, I think edging on the side of caution is always the best bet. I still don't see how the millions of tons of gases we pump out cant be doing something.....
