That's some Saab collection you have there Sharon. What 99 turbo do you have?
It's one of the original 3 door turbos, Chris bought it back in 1979, we joke he drew the short straw that year, ending up with both the car and myself ![tongue out](/inc/images/tongue.gif)
The Sonett we've had for 5 years now, it's a retired Historic Rally car with a very varied past, and one of the few lucky ones never to have been over the pond.
Mr Grumpy we've had for 4 years now.

It started being Mr
a couple of years ago when it had a slight hesitance at around 3-3500 revs. Now all sorted turned out to be the alternator (which had originally been replaced under warranty, but there must have been a fault there somewhere
so we purchased another one last year after Ian at TorqueRVT was most insistant that was where the problem was (and he was spot on).
Now runs like an
but the name stuck.
Then again the Sonett is known as LB which stands for Little B***er, I'm also sure it's been taking lessons off Grumpy the way it was running last week
they do sleep in the same garage.

Ahhh... at Casa 900T-R Saabine is the
one ever since I took it to the Midlands late 2006 where it started to slightly miss at cruising speed somewhere before Antwerp -by the time I was on the M1 it developed into a violent shake that occasionally knocked it out of gear in traffic - fine whenever I could stretch her legs and fine for the first 20 to 100 miles after a start. It just runs pig rich on low(ish) loads/rpm either intermittently or all the time and yet another rolling road session in the course of a service/MOT/etc. last year hasn't brought anything but a huge bill.
She's now SORN and in my parents' garage - that'll teach her...![curse](/inc/images/curse.gif)
