Looking at replacing the current 9-3 aero auto petrol shed with the TTiD auto variant.

Anything in particular to look out for? Yet to own a diesel so it’s all relatively new to me

Cheers chaps. Read up on a few issues including the oil pickup seal which seems fiddly

Proving to be difficult to find the right example. I want a facelift auto Aero TTiD wagon with relatively low miles, service history and in good condition.

So far I’ve seen plenty with over 140k on the clock and all at silly money. There have been a few turbo edition ones with around 120k but have all had some niggles. At this rate I’ll be waiting a while unless I just get a turbo edition and swap over some of the bits from my petrol one.

Current 9-3 wagon ticked over to 131k recently and still plodding along

The standard tax version is still over 50% less than my current auto petrol aero. Not fussed about finding the absolute lowest tax example. May end up just buying a lower spec one and getting the 9-3 specialist down the road to swap over the nicer aero bits from my current ones like the interior and the hid lights.

Prices are all over the shop, makes no sense
