people carrier broad sided me at 30-40 on Saturday. It's made a hell of a mess. I can't believe how little the dealer reckons it's worth.

one of the reasons I bought it was for the excellent safety reputation, ferrying around the 2 kids, one of whom is very disabled. Although the car is a mess from the outside, the doors on my side have literally been cut in half, the car did a fine job of protecting me. I will def but another if they write if off (and if they give me enough money to buy one).

I was going to pick up my disabled daughter and had she been in the car I'm not sure she would have survived. The impact was on the side of her car seat and she has no head control so I'd imagine her head would have taken quite a bang.

I know it's just a car, but it's just such a waste and I'd just spent 1K getting her in shape. I know they are cheap to buy, which was why I bought one (only had it 6 months), but they are not as cheap as the dealer reckons.

yep car has been written off £8,500 of repairs to a 2001 Aero estate. Waiting for ins co chewue to clear then will be looking to replace. Though the women who crashed into me is now claiming for whiplash which has reall p!ssed me off.

Anyone looking to sell an Aero estate ?.
