Lotus Exige V10
Discussion
those RST engines also sad in some caterhams I believe? but very expensive and I guess not so long living?
Forgot about this Lotus the Motorsport lotus, which does have the engine longitudinal but sadly they only made one I believe? and was also very expensive, although very nicely made.

and of corse some GT1 elise's with V8 and longitudinal engine lay out, but those are also a bit way of market (or how you mane such car) and very rare and ow expensive too

This is a build you do if you plan on keeping it for ever. If you want a better car than the Lotus you can buy it not build it.
I'm still waiting for Hennessey to follow me through the canyons or post some lap times...
I hope this guy enjoys all the time and money he put into this project, I know I dig mine but I just did a few mods.

Sounds pretty quiet but what a milestone!
I thought that! A little bit whizzy/ washing machiney but I suspect that will be easily sold! Not the greatest turning circle in the world but I think it looks great.
I am not fully sold on the top mounts for the rear shocks but it'll great to see this run in anger!
"Go search the internet" is a bit vague. Give me something to back up your point please.
Anything after those silencers will simply be a tail pipe trim and will do absolutely feck all to benefit the sound in volume or tone.
Only by replacing those rear silencers with something less restrictive will you get a good sound out of the engine.

the end-pipe surely make some different.
say like the old days when you put such Italian? exhaust on your motorbike with a very small tube
also the bore of the endpipe makes different, could be dark/hollow when you make it big bore, or high toned when you make it small bore, so the tone can sound different.
just for fun you take a very big bore PVC (plastic) tube say 25mm bore and about 1 meter long, put that on your cars end tip and listen how it sounds different.
