Happy new year, folks.

Soon, the time will come to sell my Lotus 350, to make way for something else. The car has cabin modifications. I should be grateful for views on whether the cabin modifications put off or attract potential buyers. I can return the cabin to original. The question is, should I?

The cabin modifications are Tillet B7 full carbon racing seats; Schroth racing harnesses; Momo detachable steering wheel; and HPE Automotive billet shifter (which is awesome – smoother, shorter action and shinier). Also, the shifter is “naked”, with the surround and tunnel trim currently removed.

The car has other modifications that I can’t undo: Harrop TVS1900 supercharger (claimed 410 bhp); oil cooler; carbon spoiler, side skirts, side air scoops and canards; and 2Bular exhaust. Therefore, I won’t be returning the car completely to original, which might affect the question I am posing of whether to return the cabin to original. Some photos below for context. When the time comes, I’ll advertise the car here on Pistonheads.

I look forward to hearing your views!

Thanks for the feedback, both.

Yes, I think it's probably sensible to put the original seats back in at least. And probably the original steering wheel, as the detachable Momo has no airbag.

Understood about the depressed market. Pricing has to be realistic!

Thank you for responding.

On balance, it's probably best to return to original: seats, belts, steering wheel and trim tunnel/shifter surround.

The "tattoo" is personal to us. It is made up of our small family business logo. Will remove it.

Once again, thank you for commenting, folks.

Covid interlude! Thanks for the additional comments and feedback.

I've possibly found a buyer for Tillet seats.
