Hi All,

I need some help from some resident UK folk!!!!

In the event that I move to the UK, I would very much like to buy an Exige, but would finance it. What are the typical finance arrangements that would befit a young professional (I am a CA). In South Africa, most banks do anything from 3-5 years instalment sale, and massive deposits up-front are not essential.

I would love to be put in the picture!

In addition, as a 27 year old, what would my annual insurance be approximately on a 32000 pound new Exige?

Any comments are greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,

Nick

Hey Domster,

Thanks for the reply.

GT40, Exige....Man, I just love cars!

Story is, the GT40 was selling for a good price so I thought I would buy it and enjoy it for a while, perhaps bring iot over to the UK, and then sell it.

The car I really love, and want, is a Lotus. I am particularly partial to the Exige...good looker and performer.

...but getting to the point....I went to test drive the GT40 this weekend...and...I couldn't fit in it. The chap at the dealership failed to inform me that I needed to be 5ft to get into the bloody thing. My legs were jammed against the steering wheel, the gear shift was under my knee...it was a shocker!!!

I did however start her up, and she sounded OK, although I agree, that V6 is a problem. While I was there, a chap arrived with a suped up Cobra, sporting a lovely sounding and obviously worked 302 5 litre. What a sound! It must be awesome hearing that sound come out of the GT40.

Anyhow, that's it from me! Thanks again for the replies.
