Having switched off my Tom Tom 700 I am finding it will not switch back on. Showing power to it but can get nothing but a black blank screen. Any Ideas before I start sending it back etc.?

Sorted it out. When I stated that it would not switch back on, I meant immediately and it was fully charged. Spoke to supplier and they stated it happened sometimes after exposure to excessive heat.( I had just come back from a long hot holiday in Spain) The remedy is to press 'reset' button and 'on' button at the same time. Result, a fully functioning Tom Tom again. Thanks to everyone for the tips.
