I have noticed you are quite scathing of others that pose questions on the AD forum... stating that their questions are not "advanced", but are "basic" as far as you are concerned.
You stated that mechanical sympathy is "easy", I disagree.
DDC has been covered many times in this forum and your questions have all been answered to a satisfactory level of enquiry. Go and do the heavy lifting for yourself - the discussions will furnish you with the answers that you require, as they are far better written and with a far better insight from an engineering perspective than I would ever profess to have.
Off you pop...
I sometimes pose questions to those that profess expertise. Often the answers are not forthcoming, as is the case here. You stated that mechanical sympathy is "easy", I disagree.

I rarely am not willing to assist those that enquire, as it is in my nature to help. However, as usual you dug your own hole when you professed that the subject matter was "easy" and now you have "difficulty" in understanding why you got the response you did - as explained "clearly" a number of times...
OK, it is because I said driving with mechanical sympathy is easy without DDC that has offended you.I still think this is the case, since all that is required is smoothness with the controls and rev matching for gear changes.
You think this is impossible without the special skill of DDC.
While I am certain that the is a redundant technique, I did decide to find out how hard it is to learn the technique.
So while driving, I decided to use the technique and found it to be immediately easy.
