Question about using left hand lane going straight on
Discussion
I just wanted peoples opinion on something has happened to me today.
I was hit by a car here;
53°28'14.6"N 2°51'02.7"
I was in the left hand lane approaching from Coopers Ln and heading upto Perimeter Rd on the roundabout, I stayed left and kept in this lane because the road markings indicated straight on OR left, but I was hit in the rear drivers side door by someone approaching from Perimeter Road trying to go up S Boundry Rd (I believe)

Thanks jaguar response much appreciated.
What’s your opinion of image 2 with the road markings showing an allowed straight on?
It’s such a confusing roundabout with absolutely no road marking before or in the roundabout!

If you're lucky you might get 50/50 because the other car shouldn't have pulled onto the roundabout when unsafe to do so.
I think he would have be coming all the from Perimeter road around the round about and doing a 270degree loop so would have been on the road about a while I’m surprised he didn’t brake quick enough unless he was travelling quickly and couldn’t react fast enough Gassing Station | Advanced Driving | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
