Just spent two days driving with Don at Bruntingthorpe.
Made really good use of my soon to be replaced tyres and learned loads about everything from steering to how to accelerating and braking. First day was possitively eye opening and day two consolidated and opened eyes I didn't know I had!

Highly recommended if anyone's interested...

I fear for my tyres.

With good reason though since it'll be you doing most of the driving, it's up to you just how 'nuts' you go...

This occured to me too late, take a close up photo of tread levels before and after the day.

As a hint though, my eagle F1's had around 8k on them and the rears had about 60% left.
After two days with Don, the fronts are now almost as bad as the rears and the tread now resembles a sawtooth pattern across the width of the tyre. I'm also going to TRL tomorrow for a day of 'Ultimate Car Control' thanks to Autocar.
I fully expect to need new rubber!

Enjoyed the 'ultimate' day yesterday, nothing like as much tyre wear.

Basically a days instruction on weights and balances for a car with the practical side focusing on a rather tidy cornering technique. There was more to it than just that though.

Thoroughly enjoyed my time with both Don and Robb.

P.S. the Ron Haslam Race School is good fun too !

That was indeed me in the Z4 with the 'GRR' plate.
It was good to see a nice range of cars on track on Friday.

The website for Robb is: www.ultimatecarcontrol.com/home-page/

Thanks for that. Now i wonder how much that costs. i always worry when they don't list prices on the site.

Me too actually, this was via the Autocar offer but I think Pistonheads have a similar deal.
I think it cost me £360 for the day in my own car.
Give them a call, can but ask....
