Driving back from Sainsburies on a 50 limit DC.

Big white van in outside lane doing 40ish. Pulls over after he passes some traffic he was overtaking. I pass him, noticing that he's now sped up.

Up ahead is a Mondaygo, looking like he's about to pass about 4 cars at 50mph.

Inexplicably he then eases off the gas down to 40 in the OSL, and then fails to either pull over or resume his pace.

Next thing I know is that I have Mr White Van man trying to polish my tailpipes with his ford badge behind me. Numpty in front won't pull over, WVM won't extricate himself from my boot lid.

What would the advanced driver do in such a circumstance? (I hadn't tailgated or flashed anyone at any point). I won't say what I did right now (though you could have a guess...) wink

Personally: move over to lane 1, drop back behind WVM (staying in lane 1). Open up biggest gap I can, let them sort it out.
Well I did move into lane 1... smile

I'd put money on that being caused by a phone call. ranting
God knows. Anyway, I dealt with the situation as best I could.

I wish it was legal to carry a gun though....
