I happen to know the chap with the supercharged Chim and the Ferrari F430 and he is rather a splendid gentleman!

Captain Slow it seems you took offence to my post! If read properly you would of seen i clearly state its an ignorant view taken by some! as was your scrap comment about Panic car, by taking it as me calling you a wker you are merely agreeing with the ignorant few confused
As for knowing my name and reg and threatening me, yes my details are all up there for all to see as i have nothing to hide and try not to make sweeping abusive remarks that would cause offence!
If it helps i will be at most TVR related events throughout the summer including the club track day at Cadwell on the 30th & most rounds of the Tuscan challenge along with the ring and Spa later in the year! I'll also be at the next Sunday service and am very hard to miss especially when in the Griff!
Failing that you could always pop round for a cuppa as i always have time for a fellow TVR owning PHder just pm me for details if you don't have them already, especially as Esso says your a rather splendid gentleman!!
I could not reply directly to your post as it seems to of been removed, but also hope we get the chance to meet and compare rides, as i always like to see other modded TVR's smile

Well, thanks a lot to all comments (also to the gentleman with the radically sincere ''scrap'' thingy...smile), the car was bought new back in 1996, it is one of the very few Griffith imported to Italy...she has quite a few upgrades to its 500 engine and is still making her best efforts to leave a grin on my face every time I get her around. Good girl...

I'll need soon a new engine though, something peculiar, strong, reliable and with about 400 real HP to drag me around.

I like it too. Anyone who tinkers with their cars can appreciate the time, cost and effort that goes in to these things.

Around 930kgs...apart from no roof and windshield, she has no electric accessories, no side windows, no wiper motor/wipers, she's got an alu radiator, carbon plenum, no cats, race seats and lighter wheels.

10% lighter, that's the way to go Panic. Once you've got the drivetrain as you like it, add less weight.
