Thread resurrection!
I’m looking at a V60 B3p Momentum deal from Santander (1+35 at £295 including smartphone integration).
Do you guys have any pointers to look out for it I go for it? Anyone got any experience of the 163bhp engine? Servicing costs, fuel consumption, likes/dislikes etc?
I want to like the car but I’m not sure how I feel about 3 years with just this as our only family car (good for lugging our two kids aged under 5, but not very PH!)
I’d really appreciate your thoughts.
Cheers!
I had a V60 on the cheap Santander deal about 3 years ago. It was a 1+18 for about £225 I think. Good car. Fuel consumption felt high as a petrol. Volvo servicing is expensive so if you can get a 2/3 year Plan that would be better... Retail Price is about £280 for the first year and £550 for the second year.I’m looking at a V60 B3p Momentum deal from Santander (1+35 at £295 including smartphone integration).

Just talking about new leased Volvos in general (rather than specifically the V60) are there any delivery delays right now?
We arranged an XC60 on PCH back in June from our local Volvo main dealer that is due for mid Nov delivery. They've assured me everything is on track, but I'd been keen to know if anyone has had their car delayed recently.

Really tempted to go for the £309 a month v60 deal, but seems far more than it used to be due to the shortage and trying to gauge whether it's worth that much, or is it just a good deal in comparison to a lot of other bad deals!
It's all about making a decision that suits at the time, and then having made a decision to do it, or not, you can look back if you want, but don't beat yourself up doing a "what if" assuming it turns out to be a wrong decision. It's like buying something in a sale, being really happy with the deal, then finding it drops a few pounds the next week. Some folks don;t get over it, but imo just not worth the angst.I was all set up to do a V90 for 8k, Momentum T4 + winter pack, metallic for a gnat's over 200, then spotted a V90 Cross Country going begging for about 20 pounds more. Decided not to do it, that was early in 2020 and it was clear that with the way pandemic was developing was going to be paying 220ish pcm for the privilege of storing a car on the drive and not going anywhere. So left it alone.
Same deal today is 450 ish. Shrug. C'est la vie. No regrets.
Anyone taken delivery of a Momentum with the standard cloth interior? My V90 R-Design is up for renewal, and because of car prices going up the V60 B4 Momentum is the closest price equivalent car. I'm wondering whether it'll feel cheap inside (in comparison to the R-Design suede/leather) and I should plump for the leather interior at an extra £1000?
Part of me wants the inscription model but then that's going over the magic £40k mark and drastically increasing my yearly tax.

Build dates and deliveries seem to be all over the place reading the feedback on the Volvo OC forum, and depending on whether its a mild hybrid (built in Sweden, transported by ship) or Recharge/PHEV (built in China, transported overland) influences when you'll receive it after it's actually built. Talk also that the build of PHEV cars is being prioritised so Volvo don't get penalised for being over their average emissions, and that closures to the Gothenburg factory in August have slowed production. We arranged an XC60 on PCH back in June from our local Volvo main dealer that is due for mid Nov delivery. Rings true for me as I ordered an XC60 mid-September, have only just been given a build date which is end of March - 6.5 months. I really want the car but if the delivery date starts to slip I'll start looking at alternatives.

Hi,
Could someone please confirm if the V60 Polestar Engineered is still available from new or has it now stopped production?
Looking at latest spec and pricelist it's not mentioned even as an optional add on pack. This suggests no.Could someone please confirm if the V60 Polestar Engineered is still available from new or has it now stopped production?
search on current new stock Polestar Engineered shows two XC60 T8 Recharge only.

Thanks FiFsearch on current new stock Polestar Engineered shows two XC60 T8 Recharge only.
Called my local Volvo dealer who confirmed the stop of production.
Now the 350bhp T6 Recharge is the closest available from new.

If it helps, I have one on order (ordered in July) which is due to arrive in March. I'm about to cancel, because I can't wait that long. If you're interested I can put you in touch with the dealer? I believe the spec can still be amended on it too.
Did you cancel? If it’s a business lease is this car under 130g/co2? If so I may be interestedPaul Lazzaro said:

Yes, cancelled last week. It was with Mark at Tonbridge Volvo.MY23 Configurator if anyone is interested. Not many options to be had now.

Hi Paul, Sorry for not replying sooner. Unfortunately my current company car lease doesn't end until July, but thanks for the offer.
