Anyone else gone for the T4? Like for like it seems to work out £1000 cheaper over the term than the D4

Thanks for the feedback. What is the best price for a D4 Inscription 6x23 8k miles?

I only know S90 prices but around £280 vs the £249 I am paying for the R Design. Having kicked the tyres I now prefer the Inscription for the modest extra but cant be bothered to switch over and risk delays.
Thanks and who is that through please?

I ended up with an Inscription D4. It does push you over the £40k 'threshold', but my 2yr/8k total cost is £9900 including Blond interior, premium £1k paint, winter pack, 360 and intellisafe surround. Having test driven the R-Design as well, the Inscription is just that bit nicer.

The way I see it, the options add up to £2125, a standard inscription is £8k-ish, considering the road tax is an extra £310, I'm happy with that deal.

It wasn't my perfect car, but I was limited by stock (especially wanting Blond) and wanting a car within 1-2 months rather than the 6 months for factory orders (which they won't honour on this deal as the quotes are only valid for 3 months apparently). There is a lot more R-Design stock and better residuals than the Inscription (apparently!) so the R will always be cheaper I reckon if that's your main consideration.

Could you share your deal?
Sure, £240 pm on a 9+23. Metallic, front sensors and rear camera. Doves Volvo Blackburn.

Full tank included. It's a few quid dearer overall than Clive Brook, but they are further away from me so more of a hassle.

Is anyone going for Lease Hub deal for V90 T4 R-Design? Apparently it is £185.99 per month on 9+23 (£295 admin fee I think). From reading here I can see that D4 is preferred, but surely it is good price? Or is there something wrong with Lease Hub?

You should contact neil@clivebrook.co.uk - he's cheaper than Lease Hub

That's what I thought but they confirmed D4 R Design 8k INC VAT! Said they ordered and received the car within 2-3 weeks so not sure whether it could be a cancelled order they wanted to get rid off? But surely they could have got more for it than that. God knows! I'm still very happy with my deal, was just shocked when I saw that price.

Anyone had anything confirmed from Neil, at Bradford Volvo? I sent the paperwork back straight away and he asked me to confirm a few things, such as wage etc.

Sent and email and left a voicemail but didn’t hear back from him. Spoke to him on the landline and he told me they needed a wage slip, so I have sent it straight away. So now I’m just waiting for him to confirm.

I ordered through Andy @ Chesterfield but I didn't fill out any forms, was all done over the phone?! Anyone else do it this way? I didn't have to give any wage details and he said I was accepted straight away. I bank with Santander and they are providing the finance so not sure if that's the reason?

This was the same for me. Andy initially took my personal details as well as workplace details over the phone and ran it through the credit check / system which took all of 30 seconds for him to confirm it was all done and good to go.

I was unsure if everything was completed on my end as it is my first ever lease, so I called Andy back the next day to ask if anything needed filling out or signing but he assured me that everything was sorted. If anything does need signing it may be nearer or on the delivery date of the car.
He said to keep hold of the confirmation email showing the full quote - This is all that is required for now.

I have always filled out the form with brokers, but can’t remember doing it on my most recent, Golf R. I filled in the form with information that you have given over the phone. He sent me a screen shot of the additional information Santander required, which I sent through on Tuesday. I hadn’t heard anything until today, when I rang him and he told me I needed a wage slip, which again, I have sent over straight away.

I have recently been accepted on a mortgage, so maybe something to do with that? He said that he had another gentleman who is an RAF pilot and has been for a number of years, however Santander want proof that he is a pilot.

I know this is probably a stupid question, but do any dealers do PCH on ex demo/used, or pre reg cars?

I spoke to him last week. He has been inundated with price requests.

I ordered before it really kicked off. He sent me a proposal, I filled out the credit form (Lex / Santander) and he confirmed I was approved within half an hour. Next step is finance forms are raised for signature when the car is issued with a registration number. I don't mean to worry you but until finance is approved you don't have a car. I would keep pushing.

Hi folks, first post here.

Took a V90 R Design D 4 out on a test drive Monday from Rybrook Volvo Chester, fell head over heels for it. When I got back put my order in for one with the winter pack, Saville grey, 8k P.A. Works out at £1900 and 23 months at £306. They are taking my current V70 to cover that first payment, had to put down a grand to reserve the vehicle so when I pick it up they are going to give me a cheque to cover the rest of the part ex price.

Was thinking about getting the Apple car play installed but after the guy showed me how the standard set up works with an IPhone decided I didn’t need it.

On the paperwork delivery has been given as mid April, but was told more likely to be end of March. Can’t wait!
