The Volvo S90/V90 lease thread
Discussion
Pulled the trigger today on a stock V90 T4 Momentum Plus with metallic (Brilliant Silver) via RGW contracts.

12k pa
£198 fee
£305 per month
I know the sweet spot is at 24 per month but I'll put the monthly savings towards the year 2 service and a 3 year profile suits my needs better.
Had a test drive at the weekend and can't wait to get this now. Should be with me after I get back from holidays in October!
Thanks to all on this thread - I think I must have read just about every entry over the weekend before making the decision to go for it!

Hi all,
Long time lurker, first time poster!
I signed a lease on a factory order V90 T4 a couple of weeks ago. Before I signed the deal the broker told me delivery would be ~Nov '19, so that would be 9-13 weeks from order to delivery. The broker updated me this week to say delivery won't be until 2020.
Does anybody on here have any recent experience with a factory order V90 T4, how long the current build time is?
Cheers,
Dan.
If you can find out the supplying dealer they will have pretty accurate tracking info Inc build date and probable arrival time Long time lurker, first time poster!

Mine came via Santander who I knew used the local dealer so I dropped in and they could not have been more helpful, even got free coffee and biccies while they booted up their laptop
I tend to play music in my S90 through Spotify, using my mobile and bluetooth through the car, as it suits my needs.
Recently, when listening to music on the move, it will randomly stop playing and requires me to either touch the screen of my phone to wake it up, or simply to wait until the system decides to restart.
This is hardly conducive to a relaxed listening experience.
Does anybody have any ideas why this is happening?
Is it a software issue with the car or Spotify?
It doesn't happen when I use Spotify through Bluetooth speakers at home.........
Help!
Thanks.
Andrew

I'm very close to going for the V90 T4 Momentum Plus deal at RGW. The thing that's putting me off slightly is the size of the car. I currently drive a Tiguan so not exactly tiny but the extra dimensions of the V90 are just making me step back a little. (Especially after reading you guys say that the sensors aren't the best )

I can see there has been some chat about this on the main leasing thread - I'm picking up a V90 CC next week and we've added the 360 degree camera to mitigate against the poor sensors. I used it on the test drive and it was brilliant.maccas99 said:

You got rid of the R?Or is this on top of the R. Been reading this thread for ages, as I may well end up with the volvo after the R depending on deals of course.

Hey! Still got the R until next June, the V90 replaces the outgoing XC60.
I did the same, extended for £205 a month for 10k miles, need a oil service in next 600 miles, up to 24k miles now, still find it a bit dull, but for th emoney nothing competes.Always liked the V90, and is certainly a step up on the golf interior etc obviously not as quick, but very rarely do I get to use the R performance.

Just got a quote for a second service on the the new shape S60 £465
8-0
Yup, pretty much my working figure too 8-0
In contrast my last BMW (and most of the current range) needed a single service at 2y costing £330
The fixed yearly schedule Volvo use makes man maths slightly more complex - unless you go for an 18 month term like the current Santander deals
Cheers

Dunno if it’s still available but I added the service pack for £300. First three services included. ( no tyres though)In contrast my last BMW (and most of the current range) needed a single service at 2y costing £330

It’s a such a pain in the ass changing lease that I don’t know if I could be bothered doing it all again in 18 month.
I'm considering a V90 lease, a local broker is going to get me a price. I'd sent him the recent deal on here to see if he could match or better (rgwcontracts)
But just reading about the servicing - wow I never thought it would be so expensive! If on a 36 month deal - it would need serviced 3 times? Which could be a grand extra?
Can anyone give me some guidance of servicing costs? If I was to buy a year old car - would the same warranty servicing requirements be needed, or could you take it to an approved local garage?
Thanks

They price match any garage that uses genuine Volvo parts, within a 5 mile radius or something of your dealer. But just reading about the servicing - wow I never thought it would be so expensive! If on a 36 month deal - it would need serviced 3 times? Which could be a grand extra?

So shop around - Halfords/Kwik Fit might be worth a try. Get a written quote and then give it to Volvo.
