£4k max
Along my thoughts.... Up at £4495 supposedly fixed, no tax, car only just arrived, does have a lot going for it though

.... £4k max was about what I wanted to spend!

Might have to try waiting and chance my arm.... Tiz a good example of the correct vintage if my volvo learning is correct?

It is interesting stripping engines down.

What colour is your car btw?
Blue.

Not sure of the code offhand but it's a mid, steely colour. There's a pic on the parts section of the classifieds. Or, there should be.

It is unusual to find one with 90k which has had the cambelt - most at 90k are just coming up to the cambelt.

The Bi-Xenon pack (heated seats, headlamp wash and bi-xenon lights) plus the PDC are extras.

Headline price isn't everything - a £4.5k one which needs nothing done is a cheaper car than a £4k one which needs tyres, cambelt and a service.

No chance The S60 is a keeper, too good to part with...MissB is the registered keeper now, she loves it.
We expect to see 200+k on the clock while it is in OHs hands.

Great car.

This one got my Spidey senses tingling, in the respect that its probably quite a good car advertised by someone who doesnt know how to use eBay! (bit like my V70).

1500quid cash under the buyers nose and I reckon you would be walking away with an extremely cheap facelift.

If I was in the market it'd definitely be getting my attention!

I've noticed that the mpg I have been getting over the last few tanks has dropped down. I used to quite comfortably get 800 miles from a tank doing alot of motorway driving. I'm not aware that my driving has changed particularly but over the last few I seem to be getting more in the region of 700. I'm due a service and have it booked in on Monday.

Is there anything that I should be asking them to check for or will a decent service be likely to sort this out?

Could be the air filter, could be winter diesel....

She is on steelies now, shod with Dunlop Winter Sport M3 tyres. 205/55/16 is bloody comfy smile

Alarmingly it ate through my summers in just over 8k miles on the front frown Worn evenly, but just bloody quickly!

Picked up the new combo ridiculously cheap, so cant complain too much. Genuine Volvo rims too smile

Did you use the same wheel bolts as for your alloys? Or did you need different ones?
