Who was this with please? Did they have any other S90 available? Thanks
Tms Volvo Coventry, been dealing with Chris Parkes, who has been excellent. He had a cracking spec bursting blue S90 @ £1750 initial and about £297 month but was more than I wanted to pay.

Alternatively Neva Direct had a good price on a bright silver S90 with winter pack. Was coming in just over £7k over the term, which isn’t far off the initial great v90 deals. I wanted a darker colour though so went for the grey.

Congrats on the baby! Was exactly in same boat, mrs had baby nearly 2 weeks ago. I just missed out on all the v90 deals. As someone else mentioned there are higher spec cars available.
As for the S90 think there are silver ones left with various spec, or higher spec cars but obviously a lot dearer.
Thanks mate, certainly a steep learning curve we are on right now!

Going to take little one and wife to look at the S90 today, I had a look a few days ago and the boot in my eyes seemed pretty good and big enough for all the paraphernalia now required!

I would be happy with the S90 but worried it won't be as practical, although I fear the lack of sleep is clouding my judgement and it will be fine!

As a parent of two - get the V90.

Anyone having issues with the built in Spotify? Ours is just displaying a spinning disc where the interface should be. Internet connection to the car is fine.

Funny you should say that, as mine has been buffering like crazy recently. It had been working really well until about a week ago.
Did a long trip to the Lakes and back over the weekend. I ended up using the Spotify app on my phone via CarPlay - with minimal buffering...

Mine has been a little hit an miss - once its got it's connection it seems OK. If i'm stationary when I start the App up it seems to help?? but that may just be a coincidence

Any of you guys been using the auto pilot?
It's not as advanced as the Tesla but it's proper decent all things considered.

I also love that it won't let you go over the white lines in the road without a fight. Very, very good system for what this car costs.

Got my car on Friday and not managed to get the Spotify app to work yet - just the spinning disc. I have noticed that if you pair your phone via Bluetooth and WiFi hotspot then play Spotify on your phone, you get all the artwork and track details etc on Sensus.

I've been using the autopilot a wee bit when on motorways - it's weirdly satisfying and terrifying at the same time!

I turned the lane keeping one off though as I was driving a couple of hours of empty country A roads the other day and it was annoying me when I was trying to partially cross the centre line round corners and bendy bits.

Update: Went on an errand in the car at lunchtime and Spotify worked straight away (well, after 10 minutes of me trying 100 different passwords to get logged in...)

Also awesome to have TuneIn working well - BOB FM is the greatest station in the history of radio (USA --> California --> Monterey-Salinas --> 95.5)

Did anyone go for a maintained contract? Is it worthwhile? How much extra were you quoted. Local dealer has quoted £300 for first service and £450-500 for second service. Sounds extortionate!

If anyone is desperate for a V90 R DESIGN D4, Jack or (Donna - business sales manager) at Volvo Nottingham can get you a MY19 metallic version (front park assist standard and auto dimming mirrors too) with winter pack for approx 250£ a month, £2k down. Negiotiate and I think there is potential to hit the 240 spot. Use the Mills offer below as a negiotiating tool.

Not the same as the Mills Volvo MY18 209 a month 2k deal but the next best thing.

Managed to find a stock S90 r design D4 with winter pack at a price of 1 x £1934.64 17 x £214.96 (8000 miles per annum)

I make this less than 20% of list but wondered where it was in comparison to the earlier deals.

But it’s only 18 months, so the 20% is a little meaningless as it’s often used against a 24 month contract.

I’d compare the amortised monthly figures for a like-for-like comparison instead.

Thanks for sharing, any idea how long delivery would be or when this offer expires?

Cheers

Not sure on delivery as Jack left a voicemail detailing the above figures n spec , worth a phone call in the morning, if it was me personally, I’d deal with DONNA who is Jacks boss, cut to the chase so to speak as he had to confirm everything with her.

I initially insisted them to find me a like for like Mills offer last week but this is the best they could do today, MY18 has dried up so say hello to MY19.

On a slight tangent, there is a new xc90 D5 R design in bursting blue in my hood, looks absolutely stunning and so refreshing from the usual Q7’s and bland X5’s, if only the budget allowed! smile
