As for Gap insurance £300 is a bit steep considering Ala will do it for £158.

I'm a bit late to this but very interested in leasing a V90 with these deals on offer.

Browsing through this thread it appears all the decent deals are finished? Are there any around or are the MY19 cars throwing the prices out?
Quick bump for this question.

Anyone know of any current deals?

Well we can finally join the fold. We collected our V90 on Saturday after a long wait (to coincide with Golf R Estate return). Ours is Osmium like the other 99% of people it would seem!

We covered circa 100 miles at the weekend and my initial thoughts are:

Pros
- Looks fantastic (r-design)
- Comfortable
- Loads of space for the two kids
- Smooth drive
- Sensus (I didn't think i'd like this but took 5 minutes to get used to it)

Cons
- Size (parking)
- No dipping wing mirrors!
- Not the quickest

Overall i'm loving it and for the money you cannot grumble. Just so glad we jumped on the deal when it was about.

Neat trick them giving it to you on the ceiling wink

Is it a D4 or D5? Not that I could condone such things on a lease car but... I see there are tuning boxes for a D4 that take it to about 230bhp and more torque and the D5 up to 280 odd bhp and 450lb torque which is 530d rivaling performance....

Got my S90 D4 today. Love it! Pilot assist is awesome. 100 mile journey today, mainly motorway, if the on board display is to be believed I averaged 68 mpg!

Was an arse getting in!
D4. I personally would not risk mapping it due to being a lease car. Although not quick it has enough go to suit our needs (mrs being the main driver)

Just got my Onyx Black V90 D4 R Design yesterday ( thanks to this forum) and I am very impressed with it although I have only driven about 15 miles in it so far. I'll put a couple of photos up this weekend with more comments.
Thick question I am afraid ! It has the Winter Pack. Is it possible to switch off the heated steering wheel ? I can't find mention of it anywhere but it is irritating me !!
Many thanks in advance,
Charles

Press the heated seat icon - bottom right.
It'll open up a new box and from there you'll see the steering wheel with little waves of heat coming off from it.

On the the vehicle order form the dealer sent, the specification stated front and rear park assist. However it only appears to have rear parking sensors. (Unless I am being thick and haven’t switched them on? The display only shows the rear sensors).

Where do I stand with this? Really wanted front parking sensors with the size of the car.

Sounds daft but get someone to walk in front of the car with the engine on or slowly go up to a bin or something and see if they spring to life. It's annoying the screen doesn't show as soon as you put it into reverse only when the sensors are close to something. I made sure I checked before the delivery driver left as front sensors are not standard on 2018 cars.

There are obvious locations for front sensors - but clearly with blanking plugs on mine (a Cross Country, so no idea if the bumper shares the same holes as standard on other V90s). It should be easy enough to check whether they're fitted, but it should presumably be easy enough for the garage to retro-fit them too if they were missed. The order form should be pretty conclusive, and they won't want Cws123 rejecting it for lack of the sensors.

According to our local dealer, Marshall’s in Milton Keynes, they can’t be retrofitted other than with Park Pilot, which is about £1200.

I will stick to the repair bill for a scuffed bumper I think!

Hmm might be worth ringing a couple more dealers to be sure as I've got front sensors but do not have park pilot. I assume it was specced from new with them but it's obviously possible to have them without park pilot.

My osmium grey s90 has landed at the dealers, I collect on Tuesday, can’t wait. Coming from a Bmw 330e M sport I’m looking forward to something a little different, hardly see any on the road.

I have a magic blue / blonde v90 momentum pro waiting to be delivered should i sign the paperwork. Pricing seems to be where it is (around 410 pm 6/35 profile on 10k miles a year), this is apparently at almost 13% discount and anything past 13.5% is a loss for them (not sure if true). It being a 'pro' variant drives the monthly up quite hard but i do want, and have a need for, some of the pro kit. Spoke with Karen at Mills (thanks for the suggestion as she was super helpful) there is / was an R Design pro for similar money (albeit with different options to the ones i necessarily want) and in black (the worst colour as the wife thinks black estates all look like hursts.. ) i cant see any other decent MY19 deals around at the moment. Magic blue looks to be a real nice colour on the v90 - shame you cant get it on the R Designs (like BMW have estoril (bright blue) and Carbon Black (very dark blue) on most of their M sport models. A R Design in Magic Blue or even a darker shade would be awesome imo

(no idea if images will work but every time i try and use the PH image upload tool it crashes chrome so i gave up trying that!

Actually coming in at £146 with Pistonheads voucher code. Cover is for £7.5k which is more than I’m paying over the term for the car. Quote is worked out automatically based on initial payment and monthly rentals.

Thanks Denno - had only seen 5% and then 10% codes but now found the Piston12 code that helps a bit more smile 7.5k cover is coming in at 141 for me although as i'm doing a car on PCH over 3 years its recommending 20k cover. Still at £183 its better to have than not! Will probably also take the tyre cover as im used to having fully maintained cars through work and living in an area with lots of construction going on i would be surprised if that doesn't get used at least once or twice over 3 years.
