I think it was the proximity of F and R on the keyboard Although it would be nice if Volvo returned to RWD. Along with Alfa they chose exactly the wrong time to switch to FWD... Just think of how much better all the turbo models could have handled if they were RWD

Its mainly a safety thing (aswell as cost) but the amount of people in the winter switching to Volvo when the weather gets bad from other RWD brands is very surprising.
