Luckily it came out almost £25 cheaper than anywhere else that offers 20/25% off GW stuff.
I just need to get some magnets for the turret & sponsons

My but you did, didn't you!
A unit of three should look very impressive.

"if brute force hasn't solved your problem. It's because you have yet to apply enough."
Skorpekh Lord done! Whole army is meant to be speed paint as I’m such a slow painter and wanted to get a fully painted 2k done quickly. It’s mostly quick but the blades take a looong time.
Next up is 12 scarabs, the pistol toting cowboy thing (can’t remember the name), Triarch stalker and then finally Nightbringer then the army is done!

Warriors and scarabs are much quicker - do you have an airbrush? OSL on glowing bits is much quicker if you do.
Thanks! Yeah I’ve done 60 warriors already (bit of a slog) and six scarabs. Looking forward to the scarabs as they’re so easy it will a bit of a break!
I did buy an airbrush with the intention of using it for base / undercoating when my rattle cans run out. But for the OSL effect I do find airbrushes a little ‘cheap trick’ if that makes sense... yeah if done with skill it can be great but you know when people just spray a blob on and leave it

Well, there's always going to be a trade off between the time spent on a paint job and its quality, but with an airbrush you can certainly get great effects quickly.I did buy an airbrush with the intention of using it for base / undercoating when my rattle cans run out. I knocked these out in about an hour...

I’ve seen some people recommend Halfords grey primer, e.g. midwinter minis

Does air paint ‘stick’ okay Sway? I’ve got an airbrush but a bit concerned as some people on the internet have said it’s not as robust as rattle can primer and rubs off easier.
I've never had a problem...In fact, I'd say it's tougher - although it's a much thinner layer.
I use either vallejo or stynlerez airbrush primer before moving onto colour coats.
Something I'm working on:
Unlike their paints, Vallejo primer seems quite divisive - some people like it, others just can't seem to get it to work properly. Stynylrez / Badger / Ammo by Mig (all the same stuff) seems to airbrush on really nicely, even to a clumsy eejit like me. No need to thin it. Massively cheaper and much more controllable than Citadel rattle cans.
