Popped into the Lego Shop in the Metrocentre and they had some of the new Minecraft sets in -
- which i thought were coming out in November.
Within about 2 minutes of people realizing what they were the shelves were empty. I asked the assistant when they'd be getting more in and she said they didn't even know they were getting those that were on sale!
I bought the Crafting Box (£49.99) - which looks pretty cool - as a present for my daughter.
As well as a couple of large Chima figures for the son.
And i got the free Christmas Workshop and double points for myself! Wins all round!
missed this in glasgow store as kids were with me !!! now available online - which i thought were coming out in November.

Amazon have a few kits reduced today too.
The AT-AT is down to £72.99 and Snowspeeder to £22.99. Don't have room (or funds!) for the AT-AT but I suggested to SWMBO that she may want to buy me a Snowspeeder to put away for Christmas.
She indulges my rediscovered Lego interest in an amused kind of way but I'm not sure it extends to indulging it by actually buying it herself!

Wife is going to kill me...
Damn 2xVIP points promo ended last Friday on Lego.com
Convinced myself it was 'worth' ordering the Tumbler, Simpsons House and the VW camper
Still, I did get a 'free' Toy Workshop
Tumbler/Simpsons may have to be mothballed in order to fund future purchases....

Yep. You can tank > 20 liters and buy one for EUR2,50 or buy one without tanking for EUR5 or the Shell tanker for EUR7,50.From the Shell.nl website;
"De LEGO® modellen zijn te koop voor € 2,50 bij 20 liter Shell brandstof of bij Shell Helix.
De LEGO® modellen zijn ook verkrijgbaar voor 500 Air Miles of € 5,- per model, behalve de Shell truck, die te verkrijgen is voor € 2,50 bij 20 liter Shell V-Power of voor 750 Air Miles of € 7,50"

See on faceache they've just announced Mclaren, Ferrari and Porsche cars for 2015. Seem to be a similar size to the Shell ones.
Spotted that through a flickr contact- a little bigger than the Shell models I think. Built my Shell sets today and they remain 4-studs wide with slight wheel protrusions. The teased Speed Champions look more like 6+ studs wide. Bodes well.
