I know this thread is related to the summer releases of Technic sets, but are you all aware of the 'Caterham Super Seven' that has just been approved to become a Lego Ideas (ex CUSSOO) set ? In case you are interested, the project page is here; https://ideas.lego.com/projects/87703 and confirmation Lego are going to produce this is here; https://ideas.lego.com/blogs/1-blog/post/60. Also see here; http://www.pistonheads.com/news/ph-britishcars/leg... & http://www.pistonheads.com/news/british-cars/lego-... The set number is expected to be 21306 and it is thought that it will be released later this year. This set will no doubt be modified to conform to Lego principles using acceptable pieces and building techniques.

Now russy01 has already mentioned that getting these might be difficult...

Sorry for the late reply about the Caterham, but I have been skiing and not on here much.

Anyway, I am fully aware of the car and have been talking with Carl (designer) for sometime, I helped promote the set via my social media channels. Anyway we spoke at length about how it would be great for LEGO to support independents with this set, as sometimes its not easy for an independent to get hold of any worthwhile quantity of limited sets. So Carl was going to put a word in when he met with LEGO....

So, I have already made it clear to Carl (and LEGO) that I am very keen stock this set and would happily commit to a large quantity at any point. So, put simply the ball is in their court and we'll have to see how they decide to distribute the set!
