Ok so too much to drink Friday night and bought a Super Star Destroyer. Got it for £74 and it was delivered a week later (last Friday). Over 3 thousand pieces and 1.2 meters long!

I wasn't expecting it to be any good, its seems to be 10% of the equivalent LEGO (who would pay that??), but I'm two-thirds through and no missing parts yet and the quality is amazing (aside from the STAR WNRS banner).

This is my first model, and I'm finding it quite a mindful exercise putting it together so will very likely get another one, probably the large Falcon.

Did I just get lucky or are others buying these - I got it from WISH. I also ordered a t-shirt with Pingu saying Hoot HooT Motherf*cker but it hasn't turned up yet - my missus is now banning me from going online when I've had too much vodka biggrin
I've done 5 Lepin sets and to be far there's no much difference between it and Lego, the worst bits of Lepin are some of the Technic style pieces. It's certainly better value, but when you're openly and obviously knocking off existing designs that's no surprise.

Ihave just completed ALL the Lego speed champions and though they were enjoyable to build some times the bricks did'nt have that super snug fit and snap together that the Lepin vw camper has that i'm doing.

Which seller did you use? I'm a bit lost now on which ones are reliable, and also which brand is the best to go for.

I'm the same, it was easy with the sellers I knew and the Lepin brand, I was thinking of getting 3 x Star Wars UCS sets at Christmas, but because I wasn't sure anymore ended up gettting one genuine Lego set instead.

I've always seen the Wish stuff being advertised on fb, so decided to install the app over the weekend, I take it Wish is all knock off stuff like Lepin basically?
Is it reliable or a bit dodgy?

As I retired at the end of February I decided to buy something to while away a few hours.
Little did I know I’d have more than a few hours to fill.

Nice instruction booklet.

Clear instructions.

No box, just wrapped in black plastic.

Progress so far.

I have to say for just over 50 quid I’m impressed with the quality so far. There may be disappointment coming when I get to the stickers but I haven’t opened them yet.

The question of buying an obvious fake did cross my mind but I’d never have spent £250 on a genuine one anyway.

Any ideas for the best place to get a knock off Saturn V?

Reading r/lepin this morning shipping prices have jumped a lot apparently so Yourwobb has put a lot of sets up by around 20%. Literally yesterday I almost bought the Hogwarts set from there at £125 and today it's £145.

I found one seller on Aliexpress still at £125 so have given it a shot, hopefully here in 2-3 weeks.

Any issues with shipping at the moment? I don’t mind waiting a week or two but don’t fancy an order being stuck in China for months!

People on r/lepin are still receiving stuff ordered from China as of yesterday, however costs are going up.
