My first foray into non-Lego arrived from Amazon today. Reviews are mixed but I’ll report when these little Spead Chimpiuns are done!

Back to the future, Mad Max and James Bond Esprit? Maybe?

P.S. "agile and flexible dynamic and excellent demeanor" is exactly how my wife would describe me. hehe
I thought it was KITT, but not a movie car I guess

Yes - Bond, KITT and BTTF, all can be built in different configurations.

Dear all, a recent purchase, KUPAI 91899 Tree House.

Purchased from JoyToyWorld, delivery took 2 1/2 weeks. All pieces present, nothing deformed, no obvious variations in individual piece colour. Was supplied with autumn foliage option pieces (not fitted)

Only issues noted were that the grip to the corner chamfer pieces on the trunk was low which was quickly resolved with a small amount of blue tack. Also the printing clarity on the instructions wasn't brilliant (important when giving to a 72 year old with questionable eyesight!). This was resolved by downloading the PDF directly off the Lego site as the instructions follow perfectly.

Apologies for the colour representation in the photos, its not that bright in reality - old phone

What is thought of the stores on things like Etsy? Anybody tried them?
For example https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/MocBrickstore

The stores seem to have a massive choice of things to build at not unreasonable prices.

That lots a lot like the selection you get from AliExpress.

These guys do some of the rarer mocs you might struggle to find on Ali. For a price.

Oh they're on Rebrickable https://rebrickable.com/users/Grand%20Brix/mocs/ recognised those from looking into building some of the speed champs format cars lately. It will be genuine Lego bricks bought via Bricklink.

They look pretty well priced for the convenience + printed stickers included.

Should say though for more than one buying the bricks yourself in one go could work out much cheaper, a bit complicated but worth adding the mocs you want on Rebrickable to a Bricklink wishlist and let it price up for you. Only issue is there are rare parts that multiply the build cost by themselves, you can find them cheaper used but it starts to get silly at that point.

Hi, I'm about to buy a 2nd hand Sian set locally, and I want to be sure its lego not repro. Do the repro sets come boxed as Lego or other? Seen a few that seem to come branded as Lego, bur not sure if I'm looking at the right info.

Cheers

I bought mine from a generic seller on Aliexpress with no issues.

EXCEPT it didn't come with a motor or battery box which i then had to buy separately

Looks bloody great, mind you

Ok, I didn’t like this one when I first saw it, esp for the money Lego wanted, but for 49c$ (delivered), i reappraised my view, it’s a bit slabby side to side, and I hate the headlights (going to remove the outer moulding protrusion), other than that I am surprised how much I actually like it

The ejector seat is a little stiff, but really not going to be ejecting anyone soon!

He’d be far better off looking at the Cobi kits sold by Jadlam Racing Models (forum member too). Some have been posted in the Lepin Lego thread on here. I saw some in real life when I called in at Jadlam last month. The F16 looked impressive.
