Just ordered the Saturn V from the lego online shop, the first lego anything I've got in probably over forty years! I've also just noticed the one that was on amazon for £240 has dropped down to £110 wonder why

Still showing £200+ for me on amazon.

I want to put an order in with Lego but don’t want to be stung like the Porsche model with the big price drop. Should I expect it with this?

On looking again the prices range from one for just over £110 up to one for £299
I've gone direct to lego I've never ordered from them before but from what I've seen and heard about them I would imagen they will be good to deal with.

£109.99 from the lego store, ordered mine on the 5th june and its on back order, but I can wait !

I got mine from Lego Milton Keynes on Thursday with 5 Batman mini-figs and a £5 discount thrown in. So far I have got Stage 1 complete and the core of Stage 2. I like the break down in to individual bags to keep in manageable. Some interesting techniques used but a lot of the step are x4

Started my Saturn V last night - quite a bit of repetition in the first (S1C) section but it looks great and will be a monster when finished!

Had any problems connecting stage II to stage I ?

If I press it down hard enough to 'clip' together (as per the manual), then it pushes out the top layer of cladding bricks on the stage below.

Or is just supposed to sit, and not really clip in?

It's quite a fragile build, I think. There's been a few areas I've thought weren't up to the usual Lego standards.

Def not a model for curious little hands looking for a spaceship.
