Very much like the look of this (and with new house I'll actually have room for it!):

I like it apart from the top front upstairs. It looks like it has been pre-crashed into a low bridge! Other than that, looks amazing, great attention to detail with the seating inside and the stairs etc. Will be buying for sure!http://www.brothers-brick.com/2017/06/30/lego-crea...

Damn you Lego! You know how to empty my wallet. Will be buying this to add to my other Creator vehicles. Taking my daughter to London in July she will love building this with me as a souvenir.http://www.brothers-brick.com/2017/06/30/lego-crea...

And this is what one looks like 5 minutes after I completed it, when my brother decided to pick it up and hold it horizontally
Ouch. I finished building mine yesterday and did the same thing; but it was very easy to put back together. I'm amazed at how robust this model is (apart from the very top piece, and the fact the lander is only held into the cone by 1 single 1x1 cone piece). Once I put it all back together again and you know where to support it, you can hold it horizontally with one hand. Just don't spin around with it I'm not quite sure what Lego are thinking with that Routemaster! I know it is a totally different kettle of fish, but The Revell 1:24 Routemaster is only £30 now, and even the most ham-fisted of us could make a model that looks better than the Lego one, and good modellers can make it look pretty much indistinguishable from the real thing.
(Yes, you don't need to tell me that the Lego one can be built by 10 year olds in 2 hours, but there may be people who don't know about the excellent Revell kit)

Sadly, a lot of the better build photos have been lost to the Photobucket massacre...

Not only double VIP points until Tuesday, but they also gave me a 3-in-1 lego piggy bank (40251) that goes for £15-£20 on ebay, and a nice plastic driving licence which people also appear to be willing to pay around £20 for on ebay ( http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lego-London-Bus-10258-Dr... ).

Picked up two yesterday at the Lego shop in Westfield, Shepherds Bush; quite a few people were in there buying them so they are probably flying off the shelves at the Leicester Square shop.

Actually not impressed with the supplied track, anything over 2 clicks on the remote and the train details itself.
Nevermind, £10 in points made me smile, plus this little dude helped me sweeten the eldest, how could she be jealous after getting this?
I started building 10258 London Bus last night after a quick trip into Watford yesterday. The driving license is a nice little bonus and something else to display with the bus, which will look nice alongside the freebie bus from last year. 2 x VIP so a £10 bonus added onto the card and my wife gets to build the piggy. Happy days.
Each license is individually numbered too, so there is some sort of exclusivity there for a mass produced set.

Love this R5 Turbo, should have put the engine in the back though!

Popped into an "antique centre" today for a look around and among other purchases I picked up a box of random Lego priced at £5.
I’ve not had any in years but I figured that I couldn’t go wrong for a fiver.
Anyway, I managed to put these together and although the odd part is wrong, they look OK to me.
There is still a shoebox full of unwanted parts, bricks and base plates that I will drop off at a charity shop.
The Lego case that came with it makes a nice display unit.

I feel "moved in" to new house now:
There's a little motion sensing LED light from Ikea up top; disappointingly the range on it is about 50mm. Short of opening the door and waving your hand in front it does nothing.
Routemaster to come on release and waiting for the Saturn V to come back into stock (no idea where that's going to go, mind).
