Thanks. It's a Fujimi model. I wasn't sure about the colour, but it worked quite well.

Sometimes I like to build fairly simple kits, just to get away from the building fully detailed kits. So I built these two recently. Both Revel Snap-tite kits. Easy to assemble but not lacking in details, crisp mouldings and amazing decal sheet.

Perched on top of a book cupboard is a 1/32nd Airfix Maserati Indy kit which has been there since Christmas, it's coming down tomorrow to get started on. I've not done any modelling in years so I'm looking forward to it

Please share how you get on with the Indy. Hopefully it will be a decent kit.

It's the more recent re-issue, I had several of the original 1973 kits with the lovely old artwork when it first came out as my uncle worked in the Airfix factory at the time. It's pretty basic but nicely moulded, my only problem is deciding what colour to paint the bodywork and interior as I keep changing my mind! I've amassed a lot of photos, period brochure shots etc and books on these lovely old Masers over the years so there's plenty to choose from and I'll certainly be going for one of the metallics...

That looks okay to be fair. I bought an Aston from the same range (DB5 I think) it was horrible.
Short shots, shrinkage lots of flash.

Ended up in the bin…

The brown one with the white Mini next to is a photo I took when I went to view the Mini (which I bought and now belongs to a mate), I couldn't resist taking one of the Indy though, it dwarfed the Mini and looked positively exotic. Metallic brown with a beige interior would look nice on the kit version

This 'verde metalizzio' looks very '70s too...

Maybe worth looking on ebay to see if they are worth anything, looking at sold listings for similar condition.

If not worth much, sure a charity shop would be glad to sell them. Some charity shops have ebay pages and research values first.
